Working with Private Banking 1859, you will be exposed you to a wide range of data (financing, investments, transaction services) and contribute to a business line that serves both Personal and Commercial Banking clients with complex needs.

We are client-focused, and we work on high value-added analytics initiatives for the sector and to leverage synergy. Working on dynamic multidisciplinary teams (IT and Business) in a friendly environment where teamwork is valued, you will recommend efficient work methods.

Being a Data Scientist in Private Banking 1859 means working closely with the business sectors on a motivated and engaged team, with a shared goal of providing value through the implementation and operation of our data environments. The entire team is client-centric and aims to recognize and serve our clients across the Bank.

**Your main challenges**
- Address business issues and recommend solutions to accelerate the use of data and promote data science for PB1859/Commercial
- Propose and implement analytical approaches and measures to support strategies and increase your sector's efficiency and productivity
- Recover, manipulate, select, and process large amounts of complex data for advanced analytics in order to provide useful information for decision-making
- Help implement cloud database environments for BI and AI analysis and advanced analytics
- Act as a data and analytical expert for working groups or external activities that require a high level of expertise
- Present results to help carry out mandates, where processing often involves adaptation, the combination of analytical solutions, and/or the implementation of original, creative, and practical analytical solutions.

**Preferred skills**
- A completed Bachelor's degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience, or completed Master's degree in a related field
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python languages, knowledge of SAS recommended
- Excellent ability to manipulate complex data and strong feature engineering skills
- Good knowledge of Power BI and similar tools
- Knowledge of French, important
- Knowledge of the banking and wealth management sectors, an asset
