**Position Description**:
The Ottawa Hospital Emergency Physicians Associates (TOHEPA) Medical Billing Clerk reports directly to the TOHEPA Office Manager. The Medical Billing Clerk is primarily responsible for the physicians’ billing for the Emergency Department.

**List of duties include but not limited to**:

- Private Pays Billings
- Other related duties, as assigned.

**Competencies**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of procedure, diagnostic and service codes in OHIP
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office software.
- Fluency in both official languages.
- Must have good communication skills to handle incoming phone calls
- Medical billing experience required.
- Familiarity with EPIC billing software is an asset.

- Possesses good organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.

**Education**: Post-secondary education or equivalence.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $26.57 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
