Call Taker

We are growing our team and are currently looking for a full time call taker with experience in shipping / receiving to fill a diverse role in our company in Surrey. You will be responsible for a variety of roles which will allow you to learn all aspects of the transportation industry.

**Responsibilities**
- Call taking - answering incoming customer lines and entry of pick up orders into the computer
- Monitor and adhere to key performance indicators within the operations as outlined by company and customer requirements.
- Communicate/contact with customers for shipment updates, timeframes and / or resolution.
- Assist dispatch team to meet maximum potential while maintaining delivery time specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of high school diploma
- Experience in the transportation industry, or experience in operations/logistics is considered an asset
- Post-secondary education (Degree or Diploma) in business or operations/logistics is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Forklift experience and / or ticket major asset
- Problem-solving skills
- Organization skills
- Superior written and verbal skills
