We are seeking an experienced Project Control Lead, who will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and
maintenance of the project controls policies, procedures and tools that form the project control system for the Project Management
Division. Will play a key role to ensure that projects within the Project Management Division are planned, executed and controlled
throughout the project life cycle, including project performance reporting and analysis.

**_Responsibilities:_**

- Responsible for developing and implementing project controls policies, procedures and tools.
- Ensure projects comply with established project controls policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to project managers related to the project controls system.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimating, risk, scheduling, and financial services teams to facilitate the project planning

& execution processes, including development of work break down structures and control accounts, project performance,
trends and forecasting.
- Responsible for managing, tracking and maintaining status of the detailed project cost forecasts and reporting based on

project controls data.
- Research industry standards, tools, and trends and responsible for recommending continuous improvement to enhance

project controls.
- In consultation with the project managers, develop project control key performance indicators (KPIs), reports, and dashboards

as needed.
- Responsible for project performance analysis, technical analysis, variance analysis, mitigation measures, and support

management decision-making to meet project deliverables.
- Participate in regular project review meetings and provide guidance on project performance and progress.
- Develop reports, dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and presentations to monitor project progress and provide

timely and accurate information to stakeholders.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Four-year bachelor's degree in engineering from a university of recognized standing and six years of progressively

responsible experience demonstrating the skills and competencies required by this position.
OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Membership in Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba if applicable.
- Insight into various project issues in general, with strong analytical skills to understand and determine the implication of

- qualitative and quantitative information and data.- Demonstrated detailed understanding of Project Controls Techniques including budget and spend management, change
- control, control accounts, earned value management, data analysis and trend analysis.- Demonstrated experience in developing successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
- Proven ability to work independently under broad guidelines and minimum supervision.
- Extensive knowledge in project controls, including industry standards and best practices and procedures, is an asset.
- Experience in project control tools, risk management tools, and change management is an asset.
- Project management professional (PMP) designation would be considered an asset.
- Membership with AACEi or a related designation and familiarity of recommended practices would be considered an asset.

**_ Salary Range_**

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $44.27-$61.12 Hourly,
$84,833.84-$117,123.76 Annually.
