The Site Lead plays a fundamental role in supporting all aspects of construction so that the project is completed on time and on budget.**

**Responsibilities**:
- Support the Site Superintendent in the day-to-day operation of a residential construction site.
- Have a good understanding of the build.
- Manual labour tasks, such as snow removal, moving framing materials and general clean up on the site and buildings.
- Minor framing tasks, such as adding blocking, shimming, setting exterior doors, etc.
- Heavy lifting may be required, such as moving temporary walkways and small heaters.
- Duties may vary depending on previous work experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Guide and mentor the site labourer.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports.
- Pickup/ deliver and load/ unload materials and move materials to the work area.
- Assist with the preparation of modular units prior to craning including the use of power tools.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the job site.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- Experience with residential construction (multi-family considered an asset) is required, 1-3 years minimum.
- Level 1 or 2 Carpentry a big asset.
- Hard-working, organized, and self-driven; able to work independently and as part of a team with limited supervision at times.
- Knowledge and experience with various carpentry/ construction skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation.
- Should have the ability to use basic power tools and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Preferred if have some personal basic tools.
- Must own a pair of steel toe work boots.
Salary will be determined depending on experience.
