**Job Duties**:

- Responsible for maintaining a consistently high level of customer service as outlined by Heist Restaurant + Wine Club, this includes talking to customers to monitor their experiences.
- Greet and handle all guest interaction with a high level of professionalism and hospitality.
- Resolve all customer complaints as per Heist procedures.
- Strive to achieve sales targets while respecting Heist’s budget during day-to-day operations.
- Ensure bar and staff compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and Heist policies. This includes Safe Food Handling policies and procedures, as well as Health and Safety Legislation.
- Ensure that the facility consistently meets Heist and legislative cleanliness and safety standards.
- Ensure that all relevant operational paperwork is posted as per legislated requirements.
- Responsible to lead, develop and coach all team members to ensure a high level of customer service as well as maximum profitability.
- Must be able to delegate tasks appropriately to team members.
- Ensure that the proper pouring procedures are being utilized in compliance with Heist operating procedures.
- Oversee training of new bar staff.
- Monitor staff performance and conduct performance reviews.
- Monitor bar inventory to ensure that the appropriate orders are placed, while respecting Heist budget.
- In conjunction with bar manager, negotiate arrangements with suppliers and delivery.
- Ensure that the facility consistently meets Heist standards throughout daily operations. This includes ensuring the bar area is fully equipped at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Ensure that any variances are handled immediately as per Heist procedures
- Anticipate and react to any changes in business levels.
- Creating and implementing new cocktail menu with bar team.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of a college diploma in hospitality, food, and beverage service management
- (3) years of supervisory experience in the food service industry.
- Responsible beverage service certification is required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Ability to work under pressure while complying with all relevant legislation.
- Strong beverage knowledge required, including wines.
- Understanding of bar and food costs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with monitoring and controlling inventory.
- Experience with negotiating with suppliers and placing orders.
- Familiarity with (POS) will be considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
