**The Company**

The Cup Store is a leading provider of custom printed disposable cups and glassware. We supply printed paper and plastic cups as well as glass barware to a wide variety of customers for use in; restaurants, bars, cafes, corporate events and trade shows. We print corporate logos and marketing messages on our cups for clients such as _Heinz, HSBC, RBC, Molson, Mill Street_ and _Steam Whistle Breweries_.

**The Position**

We are looking for a Junior Production Artist who can perform a range of tasks such as; creating art proofs for client approval prior to production, preparing artwork for screen and plate making, and website/catalog maintenance. Other projects will include preparing marketing materials as well as social media content.

The Junior Production Artist will work closely with our Client Service team on all print orders and be responsible for preparing and managing client art files from proof to print. Responsibilities include:

- Creating art proofs for clients approval prior to production on all print orders.
- Providing revisions upon request, as required.
- Providing expert advice to Client Service team and communicating any technical issues regarding art files that would result in inferior quality output.
- Preparing artwork for print production (resizing based on template specs, dyelines, colour correction, film output, etc.)
- Managing and keeping all product templates current and up-to-date.
- Assisting with Marketing, Social Media, and other creative projects for the website development of the company by develop strategies to increase followership and engagement. Review analytics to assess success and recommend improvements for future ads.

**Job Requirements**

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Ability to communicate well in a fast-paced and creative environment.
- The ability to work well in a team environment.
- Available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Must be extremely detail oriented, very well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years graphics experience, ideally in a print production environment.
- Experience using RIP software to produce and negative films to be used for plate production.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
