**Position Summary**:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, coordinating and supervising production personnel, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet production targets. This role mentors and monitors team members by working alongside them. The Production Supervisor also plays a key role in process improvements, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including HACCP and GMP standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to meet production schedules efficiently.
- Work alongside production staff to ensure speed, processes and efficiencies are realized.
- Organize and assign work, instructing and guiding employees to achieve production and quality goals.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Train, mentor, and develop production staff, providing guidance and support.
- Work with VP Operations to conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on production metrics.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, logistics, and sanitation teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety and food safety standards.
- Resolve production issues and bottlenecks promptly, analyzing and recording root causes of delays.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, Safety, Food Safety, and housekeeping procedures.
- Plan, communicate, and monitor raw material needs based on production demand.
- Maintain a strong floor presence and coordinate lunch and break schedules.
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures for production duties.
- Ensure end-of-day duties are performed in a timely manner.
- Perform or supervise the disassembly/assembly of production equipment.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a post-secondary diploma or certificate in a related discipline is preferred.
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 4 years preferred.
- Experience in the food or baked goods industry is an asset.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and JHSC requirements.
- Superior communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze and improve production processes.
- Proficiency in using production management software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift 22kg and work in various extreme hot/cold conditions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and understand production scheduling systems.
- Receptive to sudden and frequent changes in priorities with a hands-on work ethic and creative problem-solving skills.
- Maintain discipline and adherence to all company rules and regulations.
- Monitor and maintain production data integrity and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Shift**:
Mon-Friday 7:30-4

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $53,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
