**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. **Position Summary**:
The role of Network Analyst designs new network systems, changes network systems configurations, modifies or develops and installs utilities, data communications software and hardware, and end-user network products. The Network Analyst provides senior level technical support to internal FNHA customers by assisting and troubleshooting with complex issues escalated from first level support.

The role analyzes network performances and recommendations. In addition, the role oversees the installation, implementation, and troubleshooting of network related end-user products and services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Designs, configures, deploys, and sets up complex enterprise networks in new and existing FNHA sites and locations.
- Monitors, maintains, and manages VOIP phone system, printers, desktops, and analog PBX phone systems
- Acts as Tier II escalation for service tickets, investigates, and provides resolution to service tickets escalated from first level support in a timely manner with an excellent spirit of service and quality
- Provides expertise and specialized support in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software, ensures compatibility to the existing FNHA systems and network.
- Provides specialized expertise in the area of network infrastructure including installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting all network and video conference devices across all FNHA
- Conducts detailed analysis of network performance on a regular basis to maintain the defined standards, documents the findings and recommends upgrades of hardware and/or software to increase network performance
- Recommends and implements necessary alterations to FNHA systems based on traffic, usage, coverage studies and industry trends

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- A university degree in Computer Science, college degree with a technical major or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

**Occupational Certification**
- Networking certifications required: Cisco CCNA, CCNP and other network certifications
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation

**Experience**
- Significant, recent, and relevant experience (5 years or more) in managing enterprise networks and video conference systems with diverse solutions from multiple vendors
- Must have experience working with Cisco networking devices, switches, routers, video conference devices and wireless.

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
**Knowledge**
- TCP/IP and routing protocols layer two and layer three network design principles
- Cisco Switches and Routers, Cisco Unified Collaboration.
- Familiar with eHealth clinical video conference technologies

**Competencies**
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Strong customer service orientation
- Diplomacy while dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Sensitivity to and understanding of key issues and opportunities for BC First Nations health and wellness
- Valid and Clean Drivers’ License
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
