An IT Security Analyst will conduct audits and assist with risk management reviews and third-party assessments. In this role, your goal is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of an organization’s data and systems. You will also collaborate with teams across the organization to identify and mitigate cybersecurity compliance risks and manage reporting on cybersecurity compliance to both internal and external stakeholders. You will document the organization's cybersecurity compliance in written reports, manage compliance efforts to meet both internal and external deadlines. Protecting digital assets from unauthorized access and mitigate risks before a data breach occurs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Performing security audits, risk assessments and analysis.
- Responsible for the organizational policies that ensures that all systems are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Supporting and drafting policies for internal and third-party audits, or inspections, of systems in production to ensure that cybersecurity standards are maintained.
- Identify how to document and implement cybersecurity compliance policy for controls in SOC I & II, PCI, GDPR, HIPPA and PIPEDA.
- Contribute to security designs during system development and help to maintain a compliant system once it has been deployed.
- Making recommendations for enhancing data systems security.
- Sharing your knowledge and promoting development best practices with colleagues within the team and across the CP360 Network security infrastructure.
- Must have a strong familiarity with security trends and practices, the legal landscape and ethical hacking.
- Helps our organization securely navigate an evolving information technology (IT) environment and stay compliant with applicable laws and regulations related to cybersecurity.
- Researching attempted breaches of data security and rectifying security weaknesses
- Create and analyze security policies and procedures to determine weakness in infrastructure security and complete a thorough audit of existing measures.
- Anticipate data breaches by ethically hacking into the company's secure systems while determining future flaws and their prevention.
- Prevent crime by collecting and analyzing computer forensics data to enable a creation of evidence in the event of a security breach.
- Minimize negative impact of security breach by shifting security measures for future prevention and creating information assurance and firewalls.
- It is also helpful to have knowledge of control assessment techniques, which include questionnaires, on-site visits, and penetration tests.
- Additional areas of expertise that are helpful, but not required, include data protection, access control, network and endpoint security, incident response and handling, vulnerability management, and firewalls.

**MINIMUM/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- College degree IT security or in a related course of study required.
- Degree in IT Security or related field is considered an asset.
- Professional Accreditation in IT Security or related certifications considered an asset.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as an IT security analyst.
- Proven track record in working with internal and external team members while meeting tight timelines.
- Knowledge of SSO and AD Authentication
- Familiarity with security governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST’s) Cybersecurity Framework, ISACA’s Control Objectives for Information Related Technology (COBIT) framework, and PCI.
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Project and time management skills.
- Manage relationships with other business units/stakeholders and work closely with colleagues and other business stakeholders to deliver various projects.
