**Position Description**

**PLBI 403 - Plant Physiology**

PLBI 403 examines of the major physiological and metabolic processes in plants from the cellular to the whole-plant level. Topics included internal and external controls of growth and development; photosynthesis; nutrient assimilation; plant hormone metabolism and action; and stress physiology.

**Delivery Mode**:All course components will be delivered in-person.

**Fall 2023 Term Dates**: August 28, 2023, to December 22, 2023.

**Qualifications**:
Evidence of teaching effectiveness and previous teaching experience, preferably in this course or in a similar course, is also required.
- Cover letter.
- Current curriculum vitae.
- Statement of teaching philosophy, including fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness.

**NOTE**:Applicants who have taught as a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Science within the past two years may choose to only submit a cover letter and current CV.
