ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada (AMPLC) is a large steel company comprising nine sites in Quebec and Ontario. We specialize in the production of semi-finished steel products that find their way into various industries, primarily in construction and automotive sectors.

**Your role**:
Under the supervision of the Sales Director, the Sales manager will be responsible for:

- Achieving quarterly and annual sales targets;
- Setting sales objectives by region;
- Establishing revenue forecasts and providing gain/loss reports to reflect performance against quotas/ratios;
- Creating profiles for use in customer-focused sales campaigns aimed at promoting recurring sales;
- Developing presentations to encourage client/partner relationships, conducting in-depth market analyses, and devising strategies to generate new business opportunities;
- Overseeing the sales of various steel products in a given territory;
- Maintaining and developing business volumes for each current and potential client;
- Implementing and coordinating sales and marketing efforts with various internal stakeholders;
- Establishing sales strategies and forecasts by client, product, and geographical business sector;
- Adapting orders according to client budgets;
- Evaluating new business opportunities for all ArcelorMittal products, seeking new sales opportunities and strategic business development sectors;
- Developing sales forecasts and other specific conditions such as payment terms;
- Negotiating specific agreements;
- Maximizing profits;
- Developing and maintaining excellent business relationships with clients to confirm the company's dominant position in the market;
- Taking appropriate measures in customer relations to address complaints and, when required, coordinating actions with the metallurgy department and customer service department;
- Monitoring key factors directly influencing sales and keeping an eye on the competition.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or other relevant fields;
- An MBA or master's degree would be an asset;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- Good adaptability in a changing context;
- Ability to communicate and establish good interpersonal relationships at all levels.
