**PURPOSE**:
A Logistics Coordinator will be coordinating and managing all shipments on your assigned accounts and to process the documentation and invoicing while achieving maximum profitability and delivering first class customer service.

**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Responsible for coordinating inbounds/outbounds from our Montreal warehouse
- Load Board Experience and previously booking loads is preferred
- Efficiently match available freight loads with available carrier options
- Build and track freight loads (FTL and LTL) in the Company’s Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time
- Negotiate with carriers on rates
- Communicate regularly with customers to build long-term, trusted partnerships.
- Negotiate pricing and prepare quotes for clients
- Maximize brokerage coverage by developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and suppliers
- Data entry into transportation software & systems
- Processes and closes load confirmations for invoicing and order entry
- Administers customs paperwork
- Update customers in a timely manner to ensure loads are delivered on time
- Identify problems proactively and develop creative and efficient solutions
- Provides after-hours assistance as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

**Certification**: Certified Transportation Broker Designation

**EXPERIENCE**
- 3+years of dispatching/3PL experience
- Must have experience with FTL and LTL

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**

**LANGUAGE**:English and French

**COMPUTER**:Microsoft Office Software, Outlook, WMS system

**PERSONAL**:

- Ability to independently handle multiple projects.
- Exceptional multitasking skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence Self-starter with good judgment
