Squire Property Management specializes in managing short-term and long-term rental homes in the Saskatoon Area.
We are currently seeking a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the good condition and functionality of all properties under our portfolio.
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Carry out regular day-to-day maintenance and repair equipment within residences.
Oversee property plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure they are maintained and in proper conditions.
Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues.
Perform preventative maintenance of furnace and HVAC systems.
Undertake minor landscaping duties.
Perform other tasks as needed.
**Qualifications**:
High School graduate with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a maintenance capacity for residential properties.
Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and the ability to lift and move items over 50lbs. Must be able to work indoors/outdoors.
Must have a valid driver's licence, and own vehicle. Ideally, the successful applicant will also possess many of the tools needed to perform the mentioned duties.
**Knowledge and skill in the following areas**:
Drywall repair
Painting
Repairs of doors, windows, and other building fixtures.
Basic plumbing repairs
**Hours of Work**:
This is a full-time, permanent position. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
**Salary**:
The salary range for this position is $35,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on experience.
