**Job Summary**

The Manager Information and Technology Audit is responsible for bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the evaluation and improvement of CN’s governance, risk management and internal control. The role is guided by the philosophy of adding value to improve the CN’s operations.

**Main Responsibilities**

**Cybersecurity and IT Audits**
- Manage information technology (IT) and special audit projects to mitigate the Company's business risks
- Plan and develop audit programs and perform audit projects based on a risk assessment approach
- Query databases and analyse large datasets to produce key insights.
- Employ advanced data visualization techniques to effectively present analyses to Internal Audit and business leaders.
- Evaluate system risks, controls and residual exposure for both existing systems and processes as well as those under development
- Develop action plans with Management that remedy the systems risks in an acceptable time frame
- Carry out follow-ups and report progress towards achieving strategic goals and objectives defined in the Management Action Plan
- Provide accurate, timely, clear and concise audit results to Management

**Continuous Improvement and SOX**
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Improve the audit process through innovation
- Keep abreast of new auditing techniques and technologies
- Perform testing of key IT controls over financial reporting

**Working Conditions**

The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and manage stress. The position involves confidential matters requiring utmost discretion. The role requires mínimal travel (less than 25%).

**Requirements**:
**Experience**

IT Audit
- 3 to 5 years of IT audit experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Information or Operational Technology Security
- Experience working with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and ISO 27001
- Experience leading and managing compliance and advisory audit projects
- Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools*
- Any experience for these above would be considered as an asset

**Education/Certification/Designation**
- Mater’s Degree in Business Administration or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Possess at least one of the following security certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC

**Technical Skills/Knowledge**
- Knowledge of security standards, compliance frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements
- Technical knowledge of information security best practises
- Excellent knowledge of IT best practises and frameworks (e.g. COBIT and ITIL)
- Knowledge of Internal Audit approach, risk assessment and internal control framework (COSO)
- Knowledge of IT systems, transactions and processes, controls and business processes
- Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley standards*
- Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI *
- Knowledge of SQL and Python*
- Any knowledge for any of the above would be considered as an asset
