As a result of the rapid growth of our company, we are seeking a **Marketing Specialist.**

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will be a key player in the growth of the organization in the North American market. An effective and results-oriented individual, you will be a strategic player in establishing the marketing plan, setting objectives and performance measures. As a creative strategic thinker, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of a range of marketing projects.

With your leadership, interpersonal skills, and entrepreneurial spirit, you will leverage your professional background in a B2B environment to assist management in its growth.

**Key Activities**
- Assist in the development of the marketing plan and its objectives, establish performance measures (KPI) and determine in collaboration with the sales team the forecasts on the different product lines.
- Ensure the development and update of sales tools and product information to customers including corporate and brands presentations.
- Maintain the organization's product expertise by coordinating product training with the sales and customer service team.
- Develop the Social Media strategy (LinkedIn) and coordinate the various publications.
- Lead and coordinate the update of marketing materials including catalogues, white papers, and website.
- Coordinate and drive lead generation and brand awareness programs to support the organization’s business growth.
- Maintain the CRM platform and work with the sales team to optimize the usage.
- Develop a trade show strategy and sponsorship opportunities and coordinate their implementation.
- Assist the sales team in the development of various opportunities as needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date price list.
- Maintain an understanding of the competitive marketplace, innovations, trends and attitudes of consumers and the grocery industry and translate that into a marketing strategy and action plan.
- Ensure the management and respect of the marketing budget.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or other related degree (Marketing major preferred).
- 3+ years of marketing experience with strong preference in a B2B environment.

**Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation and reporting skills.
- Self-starter, passionate and innovative.
- Strong knowledge of marketing with new technologies (ideally in a B2B environment).
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple, simultaneous projects and assignments.
- Excellent business acumen.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and ability to work with databases.
- Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams both internally and externally.
- Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders (agencies, clients) at all levels.
- Knowledge of the supermarket industry and account management is a plus.

**Compensation**
- Compensation will be commensurate on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $38,233.59-$58,574.82 per year
