Total Rewards Specialist

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, the Total Rewards Specialist will work with multiple stakeholders, and is responsible for the effective administration of the Total Rewards programs specific to Compensation; providing guidance and advice to the business. Support and lead all annual compensation processes such as wage surveys and merit cycle, short and long term incentives. Provide support on wage recommendations for union negotiations.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Leads total rewards programs for all salaried and non-union hourly groups, specific to base pay and incentive compensation.
- Participates in compensation surveys and market analysis. Develop and maintain competitive intelligence, benchmark analysis, financial modelling and studies emerging compensation trends for the fast-moving consumer goods industry and general industry best practices.
- Leads the annual merit process for non-union and salaried employees, including planning, execution, communication and training.
- Leads the annual short-term and long-term incentive cycle, including track bonus, prorations, calculations, etc.
- Along with Director, Total Rewards, work closely with vendors and consultants to ensure the effective management of Sofina plans and service levels are met.
- Support union collective bargaining negotiations by balancing fiscal responsibility with market-based recommendations.
- Conduct job evaluations in accordance with our job evaluation tool to ensure continued internal alignment and pay equity compliance.
- Evaluates jobs and maintains job descriptions and architecture.
- Tracking and processing of vendor invoices.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline is required.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or working towards or equivalent is an asset.
- Minimum 3- 5 years in Human Resources experience required;
- Experience/knowledge of compensation in a multi unionized environment is an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint;
