**Position: Team Lead**

We are looking to add a high-performing **Team Lead **to join our growing team.

Job Overview:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Team Lead is an exciting opportunity to join a creative and fast-moving industry, based out of our Bowmanville facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate any issues related to production performance or product quality with the Production Manager to address and solve issues
- Monitoring the daily performance of the team against given production targets and scheduling deadlines for proper time management. Report any delays to the Production Manager
- Follow standardized work procedures and adhere to all safe work practices
- Remain up to date on all SOPs and maintain documentation required for compliance
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment as required
- Ensure team individuals have received all associated training requirements. If gaps are identified, work with the Production Manager and Quality team to align training needs
- Support new employees with on the job training and provide mentorship
- High level of attention to detail, while meeting strict timelines and production practices
- Ensure the completion of all required paperwork for documentation purposes
- Work independently under limited supervision or in a team environment
- Provide performance feedback on team members to the supervisor and partake in employee evaluations
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Skills & Qualifications:

- High school education required
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Excellent leadership qualities, with a proven ability to train employees, set and achieve goals and expectations working with up to 20 Staff
- Displays a high level of personal integrity, with quality assurance being a primary focus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and ensure proper communication of requirements to team individuals
- Able to trouble shoot problems while maintaining a positive attitude
- Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Able to successfully complete satisfactory criminal record check

- 12 hour shift
- Every Weekend

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 2 years (preferred)
