Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the laundry attendant is responsible for assuring the proper washing and drying of laundry to keep the property’s high standards of quality.at our **Holiday Inn & Suites Regina**, located in **Regina, SK.**

BASIC REPONSIBILITIES:

- Operate washing and drying equipment, load, and unload laundry from machines. Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to product specifications.
- Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor.
- Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen.
- Clean up machines and surrounding areas.
- Assist in inventory count monthly, as requested.
- Achieve a controlled and organized environment for the efficient collection/delivery of linen/terry and cleaning materials in line with property policy.
- Count and stack clean linen/terry ensuring accurate maintenance of inventory as required by company policy.
- Assist in other areas of the Housekeeping Department as requested by the Supervisor on duty.
- To be aware of correct procedures to follow when handling soiled linen/terry in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
- Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience an asset
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding
- Attention to detail
- Standing for extended periods
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
