Reporting to the Director of the College Student Success Innovation Centre (CSSIC), the Educational Programming Operations Supervisor is a new temporary position dedicated to a grant funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council on behalf of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s College and Community Social Innovation Fund. This position will be instrumental to the development, implementation, and evaluation of new community-based, simultaneous or “tandem” educational programming for college-level student-caregivers (i.e. students with caregiving responsibilities for children under the age of 18) and their early-year and school-aged dependents.

The incumbent will oversee and manage program development and implementation, serve as an operational liaison between project stakeholders, supervise delivery teams, oversee and manage on-site data collection activities, and contribute to information sharing, knowledge translation, and knowledge mobilization activities. They will also help lead college-wide discussions and initiatives related to the enhancement of existing and iterative creation of emerging student-caregiver resources and supports, informed by collected data and gap analyses occurring throughout the project.

The CSSIC is Canada’s first research centre on a college campus uniquely focused on community college student success. Applicants are encouraged to learn more about our team, partnerships, and projects, including the **Student-Caregiver Tandem Educational Programming project**, on **our website**.

- Adhere to project timelines
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders, including the research and delivery teams
- Supervise program implementation to ensure fidelity to established protocols

**On-site implementation supervision**

- Schedule and assess staffing needs (i.e. tutors and program facilitators in collaboration with the Hamilton Public Library, Learning Support Centre, Early Childhood Education programs, and Registered Early Childhood Educators)
- Supervise program implementation and program facilitators and problem solve any issues if/as they arise
- Adhere to the appropriate Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures

**Data collection oversight and management**
- ** **Collect, manage, and store confidential implementation data according to established protocols
- Provide feedback on program and overall project implementation
- Participate in information sharing and knowledge mobilization (including contributions to Student-Caregiver Symposium and other reports and presentations)

Other duties as assigned.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- A graduate degree in education with experience developing curriculum or educational programming and/or designing and conducting research would be considered an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience teaching and/or facilitating educational programming at the early childhood, elementary, intermediate, secondary, and/or postsecondary levels, in addition to supervisory experience, particularly in educational and/or community-based contexts.
- Field experience working in education/on educational programming in some capacity. They must also possess the leadership skills and supervisory experience necessary to confidently oversee and manage the proposed community-based programming and supervise a delivery team.
