**Overview**:
Outdoor Design Ltd has been providing design, hardscape/softscape installation and maintenance for 25 years. Over time we have developed a stellar regular clientele list with beautiful properties to maintain, as well as implementing construction projects and arborist work. We continue to expand and are looking for ambitious men and women to join our crews.

**2023 Season**:
Please note - all position levels are expected to do general work as required.

**Positions include**:

- General gardeners/landscapers (4-5)
- Team Lead (1)
- Stoneworker/hardscape/machine operator (1-2)
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Team collaborative, willingness to learn and assist others.
- Fitness level to manage lifting 50lbs, raking, soil/mulch/aggregate movement, lawn work, weeding, pruning, digging, and general landscaping.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Own vehicle (driving record check will be required)
- Criminal Record Check
- Steel toe footwear
- Rain gear (expect to work in inclement weather)
- Company logo clothing will be provided.

**Additional Assets for Softscape Crew Include**:

- Experience in horticulture and/or arboriculture.
- Previous experience planting, weeding, pruning, and general plant knowledge.

**Additional Assets for Hardscape Crew Include**:

- Previous experience in the landscaping, hardscaping, and/or construction trades
- Experience in stonework and/or arboriculture
- Experience driving with trailers.
- Experience operating machinery including mini-skids, skid-steers, mini-excavators, chippers, stump grinders, chainsaws, quick-cuts, lawn equipment, etc.
- Certifications including: first aid training, working at heights, MEWP, chainsaw certificate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: $19.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barrie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
