WHAT TO EXPECT

Working in an environment rich in innovation, dynamic and in full growth, Soucy Belgen is looking for a maintenance supervisor to contribute to the success of the company.

Under the supervision of the Plant and Equipment Maintenance Manager, you will act as an ambassador of health and safety and the environment in the daily management of your team. You will also manage the achievement of performance objectives for your area of activity while targeting opportunities for improvement. You will act as a coach to all members of your team in order to maintain a healthy and dynamic work environment according to the different values promoted by the company.

**Here's an overview of your tasks**:
Support and contribute to the development of the maintenance team members
Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and be proactive in securing the work environment
Coordinate, organize and structure the maintenance of our various production equipment and peripheral equipment
Manage the access and work of subcontractors related to the equipment by ensuring compliance with health and safety instructions and industrial safety rules
Supervise maintenance work that may be performed by subcontractors
Actively participate in the development of the equipment reliability plan and its update according to the criticality of the equipment
Participate in the development of maintenance budgets for all departments of the plant including the management of the inventory of replacement parts
Increase overall equipment efficiency by reducing machine downtime and implementing improvement projects
Manage improvement, maintenance and OHS projects
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
DEC or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Any other combination of academic training and experience deemed relevant will be considered)
Minimum of 5 years in maintenance management in the manufacturing sector
Expertise in automation and control (an asset)
Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
