**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily sanitation operations.
- Lead a team of sanitation associates and ensure cleanliness of industrial equipment according to food safety & quality assurance standards and guidelines.
- Manage cleaning products, equipment’s, tools and ensure proper inventory, storage, and use.
- Partner with production team members to ensure clean workspaces are top priority.
- Training of the sanitation team to ensure clear communication and understanding of the job requirements.
- Support other departments and functions of production as required.
- Manage the time and attendance of sanitation associates efficiently and effectively.
- Ensures all chemicals used in the cleaning process are mixed with a proper solution according to the specifications.
- Conduct workplace audits to ensure compliance with CFIA & FDA regulations.
- Adhere to SQF (safe quality food) policies and proper GMPs (good manufacturing practices) and safety procedures.
- **What you bring to the table**:_
- Past experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Positive and eager attitude
- Previous experience cleaning industrial equipment is an asset, but not required.
- **Ability to work with flexibility shifts and on weekends as needed.**
- Having reliable transportation or own vehicle is highly recommended.
- Team player - you are willing to jump in and help others.
- Time management to ensure cleaning program effectively proceeded within the cleaning time frame.
- Must be a demonstrated decision-maker who easily interacts with others.
- Random inspection during sanitation time to ensure proper and detail cleaning.
- Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation records.
- Flexible - you are comfortable jumping from task to task quickly.
- Forward thinking - you look for new and better ways to deliver our high-quality products in your workspace.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- High school diploma
- Bachelor's degree (a plus)
- Experience in a food production environment
- Management experience (a plus)
- Working knowledge of HAACP (hazard analysis and critical control points)
- Communication skills
- Basic computer skills

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:
