In business since 1994, 24 Carrots Bakery is a busy wholesale/retail bakery located in the north end of Halifax. We have an immediate opening for a part-time _Packager_ on our bread baking shift.

Packaging involves slicing, bagging, and labeling fresh breads, buns, and rolls; and sorting orders for delivery to customers.

Position requirements:

- Previous experience working back shifts is preferred
- Experience working in a bakery or other food establishment is preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks well and in a consistent manner
- Comfortable working in the heat
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Current Food Handler Certificate considered an asset.
- Criminal Record Check will be required

Night Shifts beginning at 9:00 PM, Thursday & Friday nights, and Monday nights depending on business levels. Weekends off.
