**Job Summary**:
Serves as the first contact in assisting students with obtaining the financial aid support needed to achieve their educational and career goals.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide a high level of service to students in need. Respond to various financial assistance inquiries in a timely manner.
- Finalize Appendix 3 Requests for regular full-time students.
- updated financial resources with students each term and coordinate bulletins.
- Participate in the review of scholarship awards using established rubrics.
- Perform other administrative and front-line coordination tasks as required.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience directly related to student financial assistance or experience working in a private or public post-secondary institution.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, Outlook, and databases (PeopleSoft, partner portal through BCeID, scheduling software).
- A current working knowledge of relevant policies and procedures for provincial and territorial financial aid is an asset but not required. Training will be provided.
- Must demonstrate a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to perform job duties with mínimal supervision, effectively prioritize work, multi-task, and adjust to changing workloads and deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience working with people of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

**Salary information**:
CAD $46,000 - $49,000/year DOE
