Grow with us as you play a key role as the **Maintenance Planner** on the WK Kellogg manufacturing team by creating, managing and planning all maintenance and engineering related activities for Processing / Packaging / Warehouse /Utilities & Facilities, including preventative maintenance plans, labor, and equipment scheduling in coordination with the Business Units. You will manage and control cost, schedule and perform all maintenance activities within the assigned area. You will also provide relief for the Maintenance Manager, Store Coordinator and Group Leaders, as required.
This position is based in our progressive Belleville, Canada manufacturing facility. Tasks require frequent daily use of a computer, phone and radio. Equipment noise and dust are conditions of work. Majority of time spent working alone. Multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities frequently occur. Frequent conditional and scheduling changes requires quick, accurate analysis and re-planning and clear communication to affected positions. Resolution of conflicts in priority of jobs regularly required.

**Collaborates with**: Maintenance Manager, Processing / Facilities / Maintenance Shift Leaders, Maintenance, Engineering, Plant Scheduler, Stores Coordinator, Utilities services
**HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Create, manage, and plan all maintenance and engineering related activities for the Belleville Facility, including preventative maintenance plans, labour, and equipment scheduling in coordination with Business Units.
- Manage and control cost, schedule and performance for all maintenance activities within assigned area.
- Maintain the work management system (SAP) to be current with all new equipment (PMs, BOM, Manuals, Drawings).
- Plan preventative, routine and project maintenance work including preparation of work order, scheduling of materials and labour. To conduct field investigations to determine work requirements and job steps. To prepare cost of estimates and establish job priorities.
- Coordinate and communicate maintenance plans to affected departments and positions. This can include the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Shift Group Leaders, Engineering, Plant Scheduler, Operations, Stores Coordinator, Utilities/Facilities Manager, etc.
- Generate and maintain equipment records including spare parts list and inventory recommendations, lubrication requirements, breakdown records and maintenance cost records as well as process design and layout in coordination with Engineering.
- Analyse breakdown records, generate and review preventative maintenance work plans. Monitor top equipment causing breakdowns, identify trends and areas for improvement (ie..adjust PMs accordingly).
- Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics.
- Manage the Maintenance computer software system (SAP).
- Identify and organize specific training for new equipment or new skills required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes.
- Provide relief for the Maintenance Manager, Stores Coordinator, and Group Leaders, as required.
- Manage and/or support special projects as assigned.
- Support the KIWS journey as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCES**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Strong technical knowledge in two of the following: mechanical, electrical/controls, operations.
- Food manufacturing experience.
- Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and project management skills.
- Strong computer and communication capabilities.
- Ability to work safely, independently and manage changing and conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate a broad spectrum of responsibilities with awareness of the impact on other functional areas.
- SAP Experience in Maintenance Planning.
