About this team
The Global Distribution Technology teams are committed to unlocking business potential with our Global Fulfillment and broader Supply Chain partners. Supporting both vendor and proprietary systems, the teams provide solutions to enable our partners in streamlining the lifecycle of product movement from our manufacturers to our distribution centers (DCs), and from our DCs to our stores and guests.
A day in the life
- Manage one or multiple concurrent projects within the Global Distributions Technology org and Removes project impediments that boost team productivity and performance.
- Support cross functional efforts.
- Facilitates communication between roles for every aspect of the project.
- Responsible for keeping release/project information consolidated, organized and up to date.
- Coaches the team in cross-functionality.
- Create and manage overall cross functional project plan and execution (SOS)
- Project Schedule (with PdM inputs/prioritization)
- In partnership with PdM, submit Cross functional Intake Requests, as needed.
- Confirm all Technical cross functional Resources available.
- Confirm QA Plan/Schedule
- Facilitate cutover planning, Go/No Go decision and post go live support plan.
- Communication Plan
- Overall Project Status / Escalation to Stakeholders
- Ensures Scrum is used properly and consistently within the project.
- Facilitates Scrum events (Sprint Planning, DSU, Sprint Review, Retrospective). and ensures they are productive.
- Facilitates the team events.
- Capacity planning of scrum teams.
- Scrum evangelist. Makes sure that Scrum is properly and consistently used in their team.
- Coaches the team in self-management and cross-functionality.
- Escalates issues and risks to the Tech Manager.
- Provides capacity and insight for recruiting requirements.
- Supports quarterly planning and capacity planning.
- Supports onboarding for the new team members (onboarding to the program, project tools and access).
- Supports the Product Owner.
- Facilitates and actively participates in program events (Quarterly planning, PO Sync, Scrum of Scrum, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt)
- Weekly Project Status Reports.
- Creates and delivers workstream reports for business and IT stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:
- Project Planning and Execution: Support the development and implementation of comprehensive integration plans. Manage timelines, resources, and scheduling to ensure smooth execution across various business and functional teams.
- Monitoring and Risk Management: Continuously track project progress, pinpoint potential interdependencies, and proactively identify risks. Implement mitigation strategies to overcome challenges without disrupting the project flow.
- Facilitate Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a pivotal coordinator among diverse functional teams, ensuring robust communication and effective resolution of interdependencies. In this role, you will not only foster a spirit of collaboration and unity but also ensure that each department achieves its specific objectives and exhibits excellence in its area of expertise. This strategic alignment will be crucial in realizing the overarching goals of the integration efforts.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent experience in business or related field; Project Management certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably with exposure to mergers and acquisitions, corporate integrations, or similar complex projects.
- 1-2 years large scale project management experience with proven success.
- Requires a solid foundation in project management principles and practices.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with a track record of guiding project teams to achieve business goals.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and delivering complex projects successfully
