Faders have been operating and serving Nova Scotia for over 60 years. Under new ownership and management since 2017 and as a premier distributor and service depot for a wide variety of electric motors and pumps. Faders provide customers with the highest level of service. We work fast and efficiently to get the job done right.
We have an immediate need for a _**Senior Electric Motor & Pump Repair Technician**_. This person will report directly to the owner, working closely with them and other employees. The technician will be a key member of our growing team.

Role: Responsible for the repair of electric motors and electrically driven pumps
Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and inspect various electric motors and pumps to determine cause of failure
- Determine extent of repair required, report and record findings in line with customer requirements.
- Perform on-site servicing and repair.
- Other related duties as directed by supervisor
**Required Skills**:
- 3+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of electric AC and DC motors
- Knowledge of deep well pumps, heating circulating pumps, water pumps
- Troubleshooting ability
- Available for field service work
- Valid drivers license (abstract to be submitted)
- Clean criminal record
- Experience in balancing motor rotors and conducting vibration analyst on-site and in the field an asset

This is a full-time position, a typical work week is Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm, on occasion there is after hour and weekend work required. This position would be a combination of onsite and offsite work.
