Security Technician

RO Tech Solutions is growing and we are currently seeking a junior Security Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for security systems, are hard working, and are willing to learn, we're willing to teach.

**Duties**:

- Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
- Install equipment, program and calibrate equipment
- Run wires through ceilings & drywall
- Troubleshoot systems, resolve issues for customers and end users
- Provide excellent customer service
- Verify systems are functioning properly by testing equipment, connections, and signals, and identifying and correcting problems.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in working with power tools and possess mechanical knowledge
- Some knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring
- Some understanding of CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems
- Strong knowledge of computer skills
- Must be able to work alone or with a team
- Fluent in English with excellent listening skills, verbal and written communication skills including complete and accurate paperwork
- Proven time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, work effectively on multiple tasks, and contribute to improvements in a collaborative work environment
- Able to work on a ladder
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Highschool diploma
- Teachable attitude
- No criminal record

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 30 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- alarm technician: 1 year (preferred)
