**About the role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Financial Performance and Analysis to join our regional finance team overseeing industrial metallurgical operations in Canada, the US, and the Philippines. As the Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of financial analysts and overseeing management reporting and consolidation of the operations. You will also play a key role in leading and coordinating the planning exercises with the operations, which involve analyzing capital and strategic projects, driving operational excellence, and asset management initiatives to help assets achieve their full potential. The position reports directly to the Head of Planning and Business Performance.

**In this role, you will**:

- Manage a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Oversee management reporting and consolidation of financial results for industrial metallurgical operations in Canada, the US, and the Philippines.
- Lead and coordinate the planning exercises with the operations to ensure accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct detailed analysis of capital and strategic projects, including financial feasibility, ROI, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and asset management initiatives, identify process improvements, and enhance financial performance.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of Full Potential initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management on financial performance and potential areas of concern.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including operations teams, corporate finance, and other functional areas.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
- Utilize SAP, HFM and PowerBI software tools to enhance financial analysis processes and reporting.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Proven experience in leading and developing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Solid understanding of capital investment analysis, ROI methodologies, and project evaluation techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders and senior management.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse cultures.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant financial software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
- Have the willingness and curiosity to dive into operational processes and question pre-established data and parameters.
