**ABOUT THE JOB...**

The Operations Manager should be a high-energy professional who is proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically. Ideally, a qualified Operations Manager will have experience in the different facets critical in small business: sales, marketing, administration, operations, and human resources. An Operations Manager is not an hour-counter but works the hours necessary to hit their goal. The Operations Manager will be under the direct supervision of the General Manager.
- Supervise day-to-day Logistics and operations
- Monitor the quality of crews' work according to standards laid out by You Move Me
- Daily scheduling/coordinating/dispatch of moves
- Check trucks daily for maintenance issues/requisition work
- Maintain meticulous and detailed records of truck condition/crew issues on a daily basis
- Monitor inventory of supplies and order as needed
- Maintain contact with customers in advance and communicate with all customer

expectations of Moving Specialists before they go on-site
- Maintain facilities and Truck Lot
- Ability to do on-site estimation, sales, and fieldwork as required
- Train employees to You Move Me standards → This will include spending time on the trucks working as a mover and crew leader.
- Achievement of all operational-related goals
- Other duties given by the General Manager for business success

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs and in good physical shape.
- Must pass the Background Check
- Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean record Valid Driver’s license.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the moving industry
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to "think fast" to minimize intangibles and downtime

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $44,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
