Contract Construction Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Municipal / Land Development Contract Fulltime Construction Inspector for our Hanover office from April 11th to October 15th, 2023 (start date could be advanced and/or extended).

Work location may vary depending on job sites including but not limited to Port Elgin, Hanover and Collingwood.

The successful applicant will perform daily inspections of construction sites and work completed to ensure that projects are moving forward and on schedule. Maintain accurate daily reports summarizing construction activity and other important information for the day. Work may include analyzing and reviewing cost estimates for proposed projects, making recommendations regarding schedule and material lists when needed.

Key Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in municipal and/or land development construction inspection

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of engineering standards, guidelines and regulations

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and work independently under mínimal supervision

Valid ‘G’ Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation

**Salary**: $62,400.00-$83,200.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- Construction Inspection: 3 years (preferred)
