What You’ll Do

Job Description Summary:
The AVP Marketing is responsible for planning and ensuring the implementation, management, and analyzing results of marketing strategy. They will work with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent internal and external brand experiences that engage our customers through targeted, relevant, and result-oriented marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, events, traditional marketing, and product launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify target audiences, create compelling messaging, and tailor marketing initiatives to effectively reach and engage B2B clients.
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources appropriately to maximize ROI.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and recommend adjustments to marketing strategies as needed.
- Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform marketing decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Work closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and optimize the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to leverage their expertise and enhance our marketing capabilities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms to measure and optimize marketing performance.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform marketing decisions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements specific to Canadian Marketing.
- Familiarity creating material and working with Canadian French language.

Training/ Education/ Experience Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry and/or insurance, is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience managing and developing a marketing team.
