**The opportunity**:
The Research Project Coordinator will be primarily responsible for undertaking research, policy analysis, data analysis, integrated knowledge translation, writing, and research coordination Dr. Roberta Woodgate's INºGAUGE, a child and youth research program.

They will assist in research on issues of child and youth health relating to Dr. Roberta Woodgate's INºGAUGE research program, taking a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to issues of healthcare and access to healthcare, understanding and articulating how they are connected in today's complex world.

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- PhD in a health-related or social sciences fields with three years = directly-related experience. - or Masters degree in a health-related or social sciences fields with five years = directly-related experience.
- Experience designing, proposing, conducting, and carrying out in-depth and complex research projects including intervention research required.
- Experience utilizing qualitative and arts-based data collection and analysis, and artistic knowledge dissemination required.
- Experience in conducting population-level health and social research using administrative data sets required.
- Experience working with children and youth in research and a commitment to the engagement of young people in research required.
- Experience in integrated knowledge translation engaging multiple audiences and users of knowledge in the research process required.
- Experience in designing, proposing, conducting, and carrying out systematic reviews required.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficient in MS Office suite programs and other analysis software's required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- Ability to analyze and then articulate ideas from INGAUGE ideas and research findings with clarity and nuance required.
- Ability and willingness to develop positive working relationships, working effectively part of a dynamic team with academic and non-academic groups required.
- Ability to supervise financial records and budgets required.
- Ability to supervise and work with administrative staff required.
- Ability to demonstrate insight when looking at complex social issues and policy concerns required.
- Ability to learn new processes and techniques, as well as tolls for use in research and data visualization and presentation required.
- Sophisticated understanding of complex social issues and personal commitment to human-rights based approach to research required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
