An short-term employment opportunity to join our team of dedicated team at Navera Community Connections Early Learning & Family Center. We are looking to fill a temporary full-time position at our location in Rosewood starting as soon as possible for a week by week term.
Our team work cooperatively to create a supportive and nurturing environment for the children in our care and their parents. The Nutrition Specialist is responsible to:
- Plan and prepare high quality, nutritious meals for children
- Follow Canada's Food Guide
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Modify menus and recipes to meet dietary needs of the children
- Purchase food and supplies and manage inventory
Qualifications:
- Food Safe Level 1
- First Aid and CPR
- ECE certification is an asset
**Salary**: From $17.34 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Saskatoon, SK S7V 0L1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe Level 1 (required)
Work Location: In person
