Flair Airlines is currently seeking a **Cybersecurity Analyst **to join our growing and ever-changing organization. Reporting to Director of IT Infrastructure and Services, the Cybersecurity analysts will be responsible for providing security for the organization’s overall IT systems. Searching for vulnerabilities in software, hardware, networks, and data centers and designing strategies and defensive systems to protect against attacks and threats. The responsibilities of this role will continually evolve in response to technological advancements and emerging security concerns.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Cybersecurity Analyst **include:

- Conduct thorough threat and risk analyses, evaluating the business impact of new and existing systems and technologies to mitigate risk, address performance issues, and manage capacity considerations
- Implement vulnerability assessments and configure audits for operating systems, web servers, and databases to identify patterns, insecure features, and malicious activities in the infrastructure.
- Research, test, evaluate, and deploy security technologies and procedures
- Run diagnostics on any changes to data to verify any undetected breaches
- Develop custom security features and procedures for software systems, networks, data centers, and hardware
- Establish and implement information security standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Design and configure firewalls to enhance network infrastructure security
- Conduct counteractive protocols, report incidents, and provide customized risk ratings for vulnerabilities based on company policies
- Administer permissions and privileges to authorized users, configure anti-virus systems, and conduct software upgrades
- Manage the pay-per-click (PPC) system from threats, identify and manage incidents, and mitigate risks
- Demonstrate expertise in OWASP testing methodology, Dynamic and Static Application Security Testing, re-engineering, automation, ASP.NET/JAVA, IDS/IPS systems, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Qualys, and Metasploit, etc
- Manage relationships and coordinate with clients and service providers while providing customized security assessments, implementing security policies, designing security training materials, organizing training sessions, providing technical support, and communicating security policies and procedures
- Support team members when implementing risk management strategies
- Assisting other IT teams as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, computer engineering, or any related field
- Certifications:

- CompTIA Security+
- Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate - Routing and Switching (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate - Security (CCNA-Security)
- Ethical Hacker
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, security architecture, and information security concepts
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is considered an asset
- ** Competencies**:

- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to facilitate a climate of cohesiveness, cooperation, and teamwork
- Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- ** Requirements**:

- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction
