We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills and the ability to liaise and effectively communicate with all customers and associates. The _**Operations Supervisor**_ will manage all of our equipment needs: inventory, purchasing, and quality control. They will also lead and motivate our frontline employees in the equipment department including painters, welders, bin preppers and general yard staff to deliver superior customer service and ensure compliance to all corporate and regulatory guidelines, codes, and legislations. He or she will ensure that appropriate training is provided to all employees in all aspects of safety and operational procedures. The _**Operations Supervisor **_will also ensure that all employees have access to appropriate tools and equipment to uphold a positive corporate image for its reputation and service excellence. He or she will work with all employees to ensure service is provided in a productive, safe, and efficient manner.

**What you will do**:

- Manage all equipment: front end bins, roll off bins, totes, fencing, and portable toilets in our 3 yards (main yard plus 2 satellite yards)
- Maintain full inventory tracking of all MLD equipment
- Equipment purchasing.
- Manage yard team, including bin preppers, painters, and welders.
- Ensure MLD quality standards are met before equipment is delivered to customers.
- Ensure deadlines for equipment deliveries and removals are met.
- Manage staffing requirements.
- Ensure staff are fully trained and follow all company and Health & Safety protocols.
- Perform quarterly performance reviews of staff.
- Establish and implement SOPs as needed.
- Support in other supervisory functions such as site checks, driver evaluations, and incident investigations as needed.

**What we require of you**:

- Proven track record of strong leadership and engagement skills is a must
- Minimum 3-5 years’ management and/or supervisory experience
- Past experience providing superb customer service in the Transportation Industry
- Attention to detail
- _**Must hold a valid and clean Class 5 license**_
- Understanding of fleet operations and knowledge of the Lower Mainland
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must have a safety and compliance mind set
- Work as a team player
- Direct people management experience is a must.

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
