**Who you are**
Organized and flexible, with a keen eye for detail, you’re adept at solving problems and building and maintaining positive relationships with others. **What you’ll do**
Under the supervision of the Chief, Contract Management Services, you will provide support to the Contracting team such as:
- Assisting in issuing purchases orders or contracts
- Creating entries in the financial system
- Coordinating services for all incoming client requests and inquiries
- Informing clients on purchasing and/or contracting policies, processes, and procedures
**Essential Qualifications**:
**Education**:
College Diploma or an acceptable combination of relevant education, experience, and job knowledge.
**Language Requirements**:
Bilingual imperative with proficiency at BBB level. If you are unsure of your proficiency level, we encourage you to take a self-assessment here
**Experience**:
- At least one-year of client service or sales experience within the last three years
- Experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Obtaining quotes,
- Evaluating bids,
- Awarding contracts (e.g.: Purchase Orders, Call-ups against Standing Offers, Acquisition Card procurements),
- Reviewing invoices,
- Processing payments.
**Knowledge of**:
- Knowledge of the Procurement Best Practices
- Knowledge of basic software, such as MS365
**Ability**:
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Pay attention to details and enter information accurately

**Asset qualifications**
- University Degree
- Experience in providing training or information sessions
- Experience purchasing for an organization
- Experience working with financial systems
- Experience using SAP
- Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
