**What the role is all about**:
WinSport’s Lift Operations team is a vital component of the day-to-day operations of our Mountain Bike Park. We are a safety-focused team that values showing up to have fun, supporting each other, and exceeding guests' expectations. As a Lift Operational Crew, you will be responsible for leading daily operations and monitoring of lifts at WinSport according to our 4 key behaviours which are at the core of who we are and what we do at WinSport.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensuring all lifts are thoroughly inspected before open, and closed at scheduled times
- Monitoring lift team and lifts throughout daily operations - ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Assisting with pre-season and on-going training of Lift Operations team
- Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism
- Ensuring all daily logs are maintained and accurate
- Ensuring all operational aspects of the lifts are maintained (mazes, load/unload ramps, tools, signage, huts, etc.)
- Assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of lift stoppages
- Providing safe and consistent monitoring and operation of all lifts (during coverages)
- Being aware of all safety hazards/concerns within the work environment and ensure all safety issues are reported to the appropriate individuals
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you bring**:

- Desire and willingness to learn
- Experience in a customer service role
- Experience operating surface and aerial lifts considered an asset
- Previous experience leading/supervising a team
- Knowledge of Fall Arrest and Fall Rescue equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and interest
- Ability to lift/push 20lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License.

**You will be**:

- Capable and willing to work outside in adverse weather conditions
- Capable of working at heights
- Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Working and available 32-40 hours /week until October.
