**Purpose**:
The Control Systems Technical Specialist II is a member of the global Fixed Plant Control (FPC) systems team and is responsible for maintaining and improving the availability and integrity of the site industrial control system (ICS) infrastructure for a single site. This position reports to and supports the Control Systems Technical Supervisor / Senior Control Systems Technical Supervisor. The incumbent:
**Description**:

- Apporte une expertise et une assistance techniques pour tout le matériel DCS, PLC et SCADA, sa configuration, son dépannage, sa maintenance et les mises à niveau correspondantes;
- Épaule les services de salle de contrôle / exploitation, de métallurgie, maintenance, ingénierie et des projets pour maximiser en toute sécurité la capacité de production à la fois dans les installations de traitement et d’exploitation minière;
- Collabore avec les fournisseurs de systèmes de contrôle pour gérer les mises à niveau minimes, les correctifs et intégrer les nouveaux produits de manière fiable dans l'ICS du site;
- Effectue toutes les activités de maintenance préventive ou corrective requises sur l'infrastructure ICS. Le ou la titulaire doit également développer et améliorer en permanence les procédures de maintenance du site afin de maximiser la disponibilité de l'ICS du site;
- Met en œuvre les demandes de changement et l’assistance aux projets, en respectant les normes de configuration de site existantes et les processus de gestion des changements (MOC);
- Justifie d’une expérience suffisante dans le domaine des installations de traitement des minerais et de l'exploitation minière pour comprendre et gérer les risques associés à toute modification temporaire ou permanente du système de contrôle industriel du site;
- Participe à la communauté mondiale de pratique du système FPC en partageant les enseignements tirés et les meilleures pratiques; et
- Doit reconnaître et reproduire, le cas échéant, les solutions de meilleures pratiques proposées par la communauté mondiale des systèmes FPC.

**Requirements**:

- At least 7 years of experience working with control systems in any related industry.
- Significant and demonstrable experience in at least one of the following systems:

- Yokogawa Centum VP DCS
- Rockwell Control / Compact Logix PLCs
- Schneider Modicon PLCs
- CitectSCADA HMI systems
- Significant exposure and understanding of industrial Ethernet networks
- Knowledge of industry best practices for industrial control systems

**Working Conditions**:

- Éléonore mine site (Fly-in, Fly-out)
- Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days of rest
