The work location is in
- **Nunavik** and the normal work schedule is
- **11 hours** per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Security and Emergency Response Supervisor, the Safety Officer ensures the safety of workers at the mine site and the preservation of company property. Specifically, he will:

- Ensures that company policies and procedures are followed by all workers;
- Enforces the company's traffic safety code;
- Responds to security-related events, produces and writes various reports;
- Supports dispatchers and replaces them if necessary;
- Participates in the logistics of transporting workers and carries out luggage searches;
- Ensures the safety of passengers at Donaldson Airport;
- If necessary, performs any other tasks requested by his immediate supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma;
- Security guard training certification;
- 2 years experience as a security guard is an asset;
- Experience in the mining industry is an asset;
- Good knowledge of MS Office software;
- First Aid Training in the Workplace;
- Bilingualism in French and English;
- Possess a valid driver’s license (4A if possible).
