**YOUR ROLE**
We are looking for an Junior Systems Administrator to join our close-knit growing team, and we hope our search ends now, with you. This role will be based out of our Barrie, ON office on a hybrid basis, offering the ability to work a few days in office and a few days remotely each week.
You'll be responsible for maintaining the ongoing day-to-day technical support. This individual will be working closely with the rest of the infrastructure team to provide uniform solutions across the GroupHEALTH Family of Companies.
You will troubleshoot issues and engage other colleagues as needed to resolve an issue. This role may require occasional evening and weekend work and traveling between offices located in Etobicoke and Woodbridge when necessary.
**YOUR IMPACT**
- You will maintain, manage and prioritize Help Desk queues and tasks according to the set SLAs
- Provide 1st level support to on and off-site employees
- Provide remote support to other offices as needed
- Assist in managing, planning, implementing, and maintaining the corporate technology infrastructure
- Assist in managing, planning, implementing, and maintaining Network, Security and Backup strategies.
- Manage and support of mobile devices
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Managing and maintaining the Windows workstations providing uptime SLA of 98%
- Troubleshooting and escalation of support issues
- Help manage and maintain the Cisco phone system; providing end user support and troubleshooting
- Help with planning and supporting software and hardware upgrades
- Monitoring and investigation of running systems ensuring efficiency and discovery of any issues that might be occurring but has not created error messages
- Document processes and work with the team to improve operations
**THIS IS YOU**
- Certificate or Diploma in a related field or equivalent industry experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role as a tier 1/2/3 support
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3
- Experience with Office 365 Administration (tenant, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
- Experience with Virtualization technologies in a live production environment; including public cloud.
- Experience with VOIP networks specifically Cisco
- Experience with Active Directory (including Azure AD), Intune, Group Policy.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python or Bash
- Cisco / Palo Alto networking experience
