**Responsibilities**:

- Work with vendors to obtain purchase order confirmation as well as maintain PO Cost and delivery dates in the system.
- Expedite delivery as required
- Support item master team with item data maintenance
- Maintain stocking levels based on preset and anticipated demands of the branches in order to achieve availability targets
- Resolve problems with suppliers and indicate the level of satisfaction from branches.
- Review historical and forecasted demand to make the appropriate buying decision
- Work with Accounting and Traffic on discrepancy resolution
- Working directly with the Inventory Planners, make recommendations on slow-moving and surplus inventory
- Daily review of branch surplus inventory for the purpose of inventory rebalancing
- Daily review of critical / Core items

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education or 2-3 years of related experience
- Computer literacy, proficient with all Microsoft Office programs (Primarily Outlook and Excel). AS400 and/or GAINS experience considered an asset
- Problem-solving and ability to make decisions independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure when dealing with competing priorities and managing time effectively.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

**Ce que vous ferez avec nous**

Le titulaire sera responsable de l’achat des produits pour l’inventaire et du maintien des niveaux d’inventaire afin d’augmenter la rotation d’inventaire et les objectifs de taux de remplissage. Il / Elle passera des commandes auprès des fournisseurs, préparera les commandes, identifiera les articles en inventaire en surplus, coordonnera les rotations d’inventaire et respectera les dates de livraison.

- Placer le bons de commandes
- Obtenir les dates de livraison des produits
- Mettre à jour les dates de livraison dans le système
- S'assurer que les fournisseurs respectent les termes du contrat convenu
- Maintenir les niveaux d’inventaire en fonction des demandes prédéfinies et anticipées des succursales
- Évaluer les délais de livraison des fournisseurs et maintenir l’inventaire aux niveaux exigés
- Résoudre les problèmes avec les fournisseurs, bons d’achats, de prix, quantités expediees
- Participer de façon active aux discussions d’équipe (discussion sur l’ensemble des fonctions et des améliorations requises ainsi que résolutions de problèmes)

**Qualifications**:

- L'éducation post-secondaire
- 1-3 ans d'expérience connexe
- Connaissances informatiques, maîtrisant tous les programmes Microsoft Office, connaissance de l’AS400 un atout
- Aptitudes à la résolution de problèmes et aux relations interpersonnelles
- Capacité à bien travailler sous pression
- Bonnes compétences d'organisation et de gestion du temps
- Excellentes capacités de communication verbales et écrites
- Bilingue
