We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented star to join our team as our **Demand & Supply Planner - Pet.**

**Position Summary/Objective**:
As part of the Operations Team, the Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring sufficient inventory at the correct distribution point to support RNF Pet’s 100% OTIF initiative through effective planning and scheduling of production. As a key member of the S&OP team, the Demand and Supply Planner will work with the sales team to create a consensus forecast and capacity constrained supply plan. The Demand and Supply Planner will collaborate with the purchasing, production and customer service teams to execute the plan.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate and uphold RNF Pet’s core values.
- Develop and maintain supply and demand plans for PET and PL customers through discussions in S&OP and commercialization meetings. Support RNF Pet’s growing business through quick decision making and adaptability.
- Take action to continuously improve forecast accuracy by working closely with commercial team and performing statistical analysis on sales data.
- Collaborate and build outstanding working relationships with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Production and Finance to ensure communication is timely, effective, and efficient.
- Highlight Hybrid customers, work with commercial team to have them moved to MTS or MTO by adjusting lead time, order frequency, MOQ or potential SKU disco.
- Lead OTIF analysis, reporting, and weekly review meetings
- Create, develop and maintain 12-month horizon Master Production Schedule to ensure customer requirements are met, while facilitating efficient manufacturing operations.
- Balance and optimize capacity utilization taking into consideration the demand plan and potential sales opportunities. Develop capacity utilization/supply scenarios when required.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for process understanding and to drive continuous improvement. Serve as an SAP Super User for production planning, including supporting technical eventualities, monitoring the quality of data and systems, linking with IT group to resolve issues, coach and train team members.
- Work with the production leaders to accurately maintain production rates/yields in the system to support accurate production plans and costing.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis of significant service failures, responsible for holding action owners to account to prevent repeat failures.
- Proactively participate and engage in driving supply planning execution of new business opportunities, including new product launches and discontinuations, and identify process efficiencies and improvements to optimize these opportunities.
- Establish stock policies for Finished Goods
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels and production plans versus actual, identify areas of possible improvement, and take or propose appropriate measures.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education & Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering preferred.
- 5 Years Experience in food or CPG manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 years of planning experience working with SAP including MRP, detailed production scheduling, and capacity evaluation.
- Experience in demand and supply planning activities and processes
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, reference formulas, VBA and macro creation.
