**Job Description**:
***:Under the general supervision of the Supervisor - Golf Services responsible for all rental equipment such as power carts and pull carts, provides janitorial services inside and outside of the clubhouse, and assists the Clerk as required.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Picks up golf balls manually and using a motorized golf cart.
- Loads ball dispenser.
- Assists customers as required (public relations).
- Moves tee markers on range.
- Performs light janitorial duties.
- Cleans equipment.
- Marshals golf carts.
- Assists clerk, starter, and ranger as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Previous experience working/volunteering on a golf course an asset.
- Knowledge and experience with the game of golf an asset.
- Previous customer service experience an asset.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must be highly motivated and work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Superior customer service skills and the ability to deal with the public in a courteous and tactful manner.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class “G2” Ontario Drivers Licence, or equivalent
- Must meet the definition of a competent driver as defined by the Corporation

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Must be able to work outdoors in adverse conditions
- Must be available for weekdays and weekends as required
- Must remain a competent driver as defined by the Corporation
- May be required to provide a successful driver’s abstract

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:

- This position requires constant standing/walking; frequent squatting/kneeling, and lifting up to and including 25kg bags of fertilizer
