Description du poste
L’ESEI est reconnue comme un pôle d’excellence en recherche et en enseignement pluridisciplinaires sur les enjeux internationaux. Sa mission consiste à contribuer à l’avancement des connaissances sur les enjeux mondiaux et à former des spécialistes de très haut niveau capables de comprendre, de débattre et d’agir sur la scène internationale. Nos spécialistes, issus de 12 disciplines différentes, travaillent sur une multitude d’enjeux internationaux, tels que le commerce international, l’environnement, la sécurité, les migrations, la géopolitique, la santé mondiale, l’agroalimentaire, le développement, la démocratisation, les conflits, et bien d’autres sujets.
La personne retenue pour ce poste sera intégrée à l’École supérieure d’études internationales comme professeure régulière ou professeur régulier à compter du 1er septembre 2024. L’embauche pourra se faire à tous les rangs universitaires conformément à la Convention collective entre l’Université Laval et le syndicat des professeurs et des professeures de l’Université Laval (SPUL).
**Les fonctions incluent**:
L’enseignement aux cycles d’études supérieurs;
L’encadrement aux cycles d’études supérieurs dans le cadre d’essais de maîtrise, de mémoires de maîtrise et de thèses de doctorat;
La recherche et la publication sur les enjeux de la mondialisation;
La participation aux activités pédagogiques et administratives associées à l’ESEI;
Toute autre activité prévue à la Convention collective entre l’Université Laval et le SPUL.
Critères de sélection
Attester d’un engagement fort envers la pluri/interdisciplinarité, que ce soit à travers la formation, le programme de recherche, les expériences d’enseignement, ou les collaborations;
Démontrer de l’expérience en enseignement au niveau universitaire, idéalement attestée par des évaluations;
Avoir obtenu des subventions de recherche auprès d’organismes subventionnaires de son domaine ou démontrer le potentiel d’en obtenir dans un avenir rapproché;
Être en mesure d’enseigner un cours de méthodologie aux cycles d’études supérieurs;
Témoigner de son insertion avérée dans des réseaux de recherche internationaux serait un atout;
Prouver un fort intérêt pour le travail en collaboration;
Avoir la capacité d’enseigner en français dans les 3 années suivant l’entrée en poste.

c) Un document de 2 pages maximum décrivant une programmation de recherche pour les 5 années à venir, couvrant entre autres les aspects théoriques, méthodologiques et de diffusion de la recherche;
d) Un exemplaire de publications.
