**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering the growth and development of children in a nurturing and educational environment. You will work closely with children, their families, and other educators to create a supportive atmosphere that promotes learning, social interaction, and emotional well-being.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that cater to the developmental needs of children.
- Engage with children in classroom settings to facilitate learning through play and structured activities.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers on their development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to child development and education.
- Provide caregiving support as needed, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of each child are met.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and any incidents that may occur during care.

**Requirements**:

- A background in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage with children and families.
- Ability to create lesson plans that are engaging, educational, and developmentally appropriate.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
