**Some of what you will do**:
The Regional Inside Sales Manager (RISM) is responsible for managing the inside sales business plan for the assigned accounts and is also responsible for new business growth in the Small Market. The RISM works closely with the Inside Sales team to ensure they have the tools and resources necessary to successfully penetrate into the assigned accounts while focus is also placed on reactivating dormant accounts. The RISM is responsible for developing sales strategy, training initiatives and margin management activities of their overall book of business. The RISM identifies, recruits, interviews, manages, coaches, develops and performance manages the assigned team of Inside Account Managers (IAM's) and Inside Sales Coordinators (ISC’s). The RISM will work with RSD’s and other Sales Managers in coordinating sales activities to manage sales and margin results and meet key metrics and objectives.

**Specifically, you will**:

- Manages, Coaches and Mentors the Inside team to ensure successful growth targets are being met
- Provides guidance on goals and objectives through clear, effective, timely and constructive feedback to employees. 30/60/90 day action plans in place and monthly review of Optimum Performance metrics
- Manages and provides leadership including training, sales coaching, and performance evaluations
- Call monitoring & side by side coaching sessions are done on a regular basis with feedback sessions to ensure sales skills development
- Facilitate or coordinate training sessions on Sales Skills, Internal processes, systems or methodology
- Works closely with Sales Managers of Specialty lines to ensure there are penetration plans in place for all lines of business with ongoing programs
- Work with Marketing to ensure collateral is available that is relevant for the Inside Team
- Strong SFDC user; comfortable creating reporting, managing data, training associates and ensuring sales representatives are compliant with tracking all customer interaction
- Provide a well thought out and detailed action plan to review and achieve key business priorities
- Work with National Inside Sales Director to ensure key metrics and objectives are consistent among job roles and that targets are being met

- Internal communications - National Inside Sales Director, Regional Sales Director’s, Sales Manager’s, Director of Marketing, VP of Sales, outside sales associates, customer care and other support staff.
- External communication - customers and vendors

**Some of what you need**
- Post secondary education in business related discipline - Diploma or Degree preferred
- 3 years direct management experience required
- Minimum 5 years of selling experience, penetrating and winning accounts
- Previous office product industry experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge and understanding of telesales and the sales planning process
- Experienced in coaching for results, good organizational skills and demonstrated positive leadership style
- Creative selling, project management skills and strategic planning ability required
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Able to interface internally to the company with professionalism, tact and diplomacy
- Ability to set targets and design growth plans
- Ability to coach, performance manage, lead, motivate, and manage for results
- Ability to interface at the most senior levels at a customer
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Strong business, financial, operations, and technical acumen
- Demonstrates consultative selling skills
- Demonstrates strong team building attributes
- Computer literacy, including above average competency in Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Trained as a facilitator in sales training programs
