As a key member of the team, the Case-Aide provides a variety of services to families, children, and adults such as schedules for access and appointments, setting up and coordinating drivers, as well as maintaining reports.

Case Aides may be required to transport clients to and from their homes, appointments, and cultural or recreational activities. Escorts children to sibling and parental access visits and may also supervise Access. Case Aides are expected to promptly record, and report concerns to the client’s Social Worker and Supervisor of Family Support for follow-up.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Scheduling access, transportation, and youth support
- Booking rental spaces for clients
- Completing/submitting invoices for service providers for payment
- Completing monthly statistics on services
- Maintain service records
- Ensure all Service Providers provide up to date documentation
- Assists in the recruitment and training of contract and casual Service Providers for transportation and Access Facilitation.
- Performs other duties that be assigned by their Supervisor/Social Worker

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A diploma in child and youth, disability support services, or social services is considered an asset
- Two (2) years of related experience in a social service setting
- CPR and Emergency First Aid
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in technology, specifically in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and effectively prioritize workload
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain high-level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgement
- Ability to keep and maintain excellent records
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a willingness to work in an environment where Mi’kmaw is the first language
- A valid driver's license, the ability to travel, and access to a reliable vehicle

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $43,641.00-$50,348.74 per year
