**Responsibilities**

The main roll of the Bar Supervisor is ensuring weddings and/or events have all requirements with regards to the bar organized and ready to facilitate. The duties include, but are not limited too:
Leadership
- To ensure that were are open lines of communication with all staff and management
- To coach and mentor all staff and maximize efficiency
- To represent the company in a professional manner
- Possess strong communications and leadership qualities - create a positive work environment.
- Conduct daily shift huddles with each shift to communicant expectations.
- Bar Operations
- Responsible for wedding and event bar operations including working the bar and overseeing the staff /opening/closing of the bar for all our weddings and events.
- Set up bar on event days.
- Ensure overall guests’ satisfaction through outstanding service by all team members.
- To ensure all side duties are being delegated and properly completed.
- Inventory organizing and maintaining to be completed and handed in to Bar Director Weekly
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements, AGCO, health, and safety.
- Handling all conflicts or issues that may arise during your shifts, with guests or clients in a professional manner
- Making quick professional decisions when dealing with difficult customers and be able to resolve conflicts.
- Coordinate with Owners/Management to establish needs for events.
- Ensure bar is working proficiently on event days.
- Supply information as to operational challenges to ensure we can continue to give the best experience to our clients.
- Other duties as assigned.

Training and Development
- To ensure constant training and development of our bartending stall
- Working closely with the Bar Director to create seasonal cocktail menus.
- Assist owners in Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Must be available to nights, weekends and/or holidays as required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to quality and creativity.
- Excellent with people and is well spoken with excellent verbal communication
- Must be able to execute all instructions with a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, and efficiency
- Must be flexible in any high stress situation that may arise on event with an ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
- Ability to handle pressure and make split-second decisions.
- May be required to work a rotating schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Smart Serve Certificate is a MUST
- First Aid Certificate an asset

**Working Environment & Hours**
- Inclement weather conditions
- Heavy lifting / squatting, moving
- Prolonged times of standing and walking
- 8,10, and 12 hours shifts
- Mostly weekend events, with some weekday events
- Available to work all weekends and holidays through our busy season (April to November)
- Must be able to work late nights.
- Thurs - Fridays
- Saturdays and Sundays
- 40-44hours/week in “peek” season April-Dec
- 20-30hours/week in lower season

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
